We are pleased to present the Legal Global Observatory on Non Regression. This observatory aims to identify and make public the environmental legal regressions in the world. The regressions to be presented at the observatory can be legislative, judicial, budgetary, institutional and others. The information could be presented in English, Spanish or French. This observatory is one of the results of the project called “The applicability of non – regression principle in environmental matters. Possibilities and perspectives” supported by the Science and Technology Department in Argentina and the Ecos Sud Foundation in France and developed between the years 2011 – 2013.

IUCN resolutions on non-regression
IUCN members meet every four years at the World Conservation Congress to make joint decisions on the global conservation agenda. In 2012 and 2016, they passed two resolutions with the aim of highlighting the importance of non-regression in environmental law.
