The CIDCE is reacting strongly to the alert made by the European Environment Bureau (EEB) of the EU’s non-compliance with the Aarhus Convention. The Aarhus Convention Compliance Committee found the EU was non compliant given the lack of effective access to justice at the EU institution level.
