Après le processus de sélection et de discussion électronique, les motions son désormais soumises au vote des ONG et des Etats membres de l’UICN en vue de déterminer celles qui seront finalement retenues pour adoption au congrès de Marseille en janvier prochain. Ce vote se fera également par voie électronique du 7-21 octobre 2020.
Le CIDCE invite vivement toutes les ONG et Etats membres de l’UICN à participer massivement au processus en donnant leurs voix à ces deux motions qui visent à renforcer la réglementation, l’application et la mise oeuvre des normes relatives à la conservation de la nature.

As part of the next Congress of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) to be held from January 7-21, 2021 in Marseille, the CIDCE is carrying two Motions, one of which is entitled: “Preventing conflicts of interest relating to chemicals and plant protection products ” (ref: 011) and the other ” Measuring the effectiveness of environmental law using legal indicators ” (ref: 060).
After the selection process and e-discussion, the motions are now put to the vote of NGOs and IUCN Member States with a view to determining those which will ultimately be retained for adoption at the Marseille Congress in January. This vote will also take place online from October 7-21, 2020.
CIDCE urges all NGOs and IUCN Member States to participate massively in the process by giving their votes to these two motions which aim to strengthen the regulation, application and implementation of standards relating to nature conservation.
