The CIDCE is reacting strongly to the alert made by the European Environment Bureau (EEB) of the EU’s non-compliance with the Aarhus Convention. The Aarhus Convention Compliance Committee found the EU was non compliant given the lack of effective access to justice at the EU institution level.

Le CIDCE réagit fortement à l’alerte lancé par le Bureau européen de l’environnement (EEB) sur la non conformité de l’Union européenne avec la Convention d’Aarhus. Le Comité d’examen du respect des dispositions de la Convention d’Aarhus a considéré que l’Union européenne ne respectait pas la Convention en raison du manque d’accès effectif à la justice au sein des institutions européennes, en particulier en ce qui concerne le recours en annulation.
