Dear friend,
The CIDCE has special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) as an international NGO. This gives it access to international meetings and Conferences of the Parties (COP) to speak, submit written opinions and organize side events to help improve the protection of the environment and prevent the risk of regression.
CIDCE members will have access to a community of experts in international and comparative environmental law and can benefit from the network of national correspondents in more than 50 countries.
We invite you to join as well as your friends, colleagues and home institutions. Take advantage of the special rate offered to individual members.
In the immediate future, the CIDCE is launching a campaign for the adoption of a Third International Covenant on the Human Right to the Environment and has submitted a written statement to the Council of Human Rights (OHCHR).
Join us in our efforts to make a difference! Together, we can contribute to better ensure human rights, the rights of humanity and the right to the environment for present and future generations.
By becoming adherent, you will receive:
● monthly newsletter;
● Annual program of conferences and international meetings on the environment;
● Priority access to international conferences where CIDCE is accredited subject to the number of places available;
● Ability to organize and participate in side events at international conferences;
